When booking with us at Rod 'N Real, we take the challenge out of arranging your charter and leave you to enjoy your trip.  
We supply the boats, guides, rods, and tackle.  All you need to do is come prepared to enjoy yourself, reeling in some great Alaskan fish and take home wonderful memories (and maybe a photo or two if you want to make your friends back home jealous).


We have eight deluxe riverfront cabins on the bank of the highly productive Kenai River.

After an enjoyable day fishing or sightseeing, come kick your heels up and enjoy the evening in one of our riverfront cabins. Each one is equipped with its own BBQ grill, full kitchen, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and living room with TV.  All of the cooking utensils and dinnerware are provided, all you need is to provide the ingredients for a great meal.  Ready access to the Kenai River just a few steps away is sure to help address the simple matter of your main dish.


Our  Gear:
You will be provided with top quality rods and reels as well as unlimited tackle and bait.

Our Boats:
Our custom built 20' riverboats are designed for comfort and safety and equipped in accordance with federal and state laws. Our 30' saltwater boats were built for the serious fisherman: State-of-the-art electronics, effectiveness, and designed with safety in mind.

Our Guides:
With over 30 years experience in Cook Inlet/Kenai Peninsula Waters, Rod 'N Real guides are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and know when, where, and how to put you onto the finest fishing in Alaska.

The Fish:

The Wildlife:
Soldotna borders the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and many other nearby state park lands that are rich in wildlife.  These areas serve as home to moose, caribou, brown and black bear, wolves, dall sheep, mountain goats, eagles, swans, ducks, geese, birds, fish, and various other wildlife. Moose often wander right into the cabin area, and bald eagles are commonly seen soaring overhead.
