Kenai River Charters

The world famous Kenai River is one of the most productive fisheries in North America. Sockeye Salmon (Reds) season begins in mid-June with the first run of reds make their way up to their Russian River spawning grounds. As the first run is tapers off, the second run of Sockeye begin to make their way up the Kenai River starting around the second week of July. This second run of Sockeye can be huge with 1MM+ reds coming through the river right in front of camp. Coho or Silver Salmon are a favorite of many guests and their season begins in August running through September. They are an aggressive fish that strike lures and baited hooks. We fish from anchored boats using lures and bait. Rainbow Trout season begins mid-June and runs through September. While the Kenai River is world famous for it's Salmon fishery, anglers from all over come to fish trophy class Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden found in the Kenai River. Day charters offered based on availability.
